President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi said that during the management of the first wave of the Corona crisis, the state was forced to take measures “it is important not to repeat them again.”
Al-Sisi added, “This will only happen with your cooperation and eagerness and taking the matter seriously by all groups and levels in Egypt, and when we were forced to partially isolate and close universities, schools, restaurants, tourist facilities and others, during the first wave, and now we do not want to repeat this matter.”
This came in the speech that President El-Sisi addressed today, Tuesday, to the Egyptian people regarding confronting the Corona virus, coinciding with the increase in the number of Corona infections.
The president called for not sitting in closed places and respecting social distancing while using masks permanently to reduce the chances of infection, and he also called on companies, factories and means of transportation to continue to ensure the use of masks, calling on the Prime Minister to work on putting more masks on the ration cards and in schools And universities.
He also called on citizens to work to renew the ventilation of places and practice sports, reiterating his appreciation to the medical staff and the government in managing the crisis.
President El-Sisi stressed that the epidemic is still continuing, and our concern and the preventive measures that we have spoken about during the past months and the media campaigns about it must continue.
