The stations of the National Seismological Network of the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research recorded, on Tuesday evening and Wednesday dawn, a number of earthquakes in the Mediterranean region, near the Egyptian coast.

The institute said in a statement today, that the first tremor was at 41 oclock; 11:24 pm local time in Cairo, with a force of 3.8 degrees on the Richter scale, latitude: 33.9763 ° north, longitude: 25.9853 ° east, about 316 km north of Marsa Matrouh, with a depth of 13 km.

The second earthquake occurred this morning, Wednesday, November 25, at 20:18:12 am local time in Cairo, with a force of 4.2 degrees on the Richt scale, latitude: 32.7985 ° north, longitude: 29.9228 ° east, and about 170 km north Alexandria, with a depth of 23 km.

The National Institute for Astronomical Research confirmed that, to date, the institute has not received any feeling from some citizens about these two tremors.
