WHO Director, Ethiopian Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

The Ethiopian army chief accused the WHO director, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, of lobbying for the Tigrayans Liberation Front, which is fighting Ethiopian federal forces.

General Berhanu Gula said that Ghebreyesus had “spared no effort” to support the TPLF and help them obtain weapons.

Neither the World Health Organization nor its director has commented on this accusation.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was the Minister of Health in the former Ethiopian government, which was dominated by the Tigray People’s Liberation Front, and the man is the highest international official belonging to the Tigray region.
