The Spanish Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid defender, equaled the number of Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon, goalkeeper of Juventus and Italy, to appear internationally with his country, in the friendly match of the Spanish national team and his Dutch counterpart.
Ramos participated against the Netherlands to score the 176th international match in his career with the Spanish national team, which witnessed many titles and accomplishments.
Ramos equaled Gianluigi Buffon’s number and became his second most representative player in history for their national teams in international matches.
Retired Egyptian national captain Ahmed Hassan is at the forefront of the world’s players, which gave him the title of “Brigadier” after being awarded for a period of time by Hossam Hassan, the legend of Al-Ahly, Zamalek and the Egyptian national team.
Ahmed Hassan has played 184 international matches for his country, but now Sergio Ramos (34 years old) is only 8 games away from the equalization of the Egyptian star.
