The security services in Aswan governorate solved the mystery of finding a university girl killed in a deserted area at the beginning of the Friendship neighborhood in Aswan, and finding the perpetrator 48 hours before the crime occurred.
A security source in the Aswan Security Directorate confirmed that the girl was not kidnapped in front of the university, and that she left the house willingly and went to the perpetrator, who had a passionate relationship with her, and had previously proposed to her more than once, but her family refused each time.
The source revealed that a verbal altercation took place between the perpetrator and the murdered woman about consummating the marriage.
The criminal investigation agencies were able to arrest the killer while he was disappeared in Minya governorate. They also managed to arrest the “tuk-tuk” driver in Aswan, and he confessed to committing the incident, and legal measures are being taken.
Major General Mustafa Abdel-Fattah, Director of Aswan Security, received a notification from the head of the Aswan Police Station, that the body of a 22-year-old girl was found dead and dumped in a random area in the beginning of the Sadaqa neighborhood, east of Aswan.
Investigations found that the body of a female student, “M.”, is a student in the fourth year of the Faculty of Commerce at Aswan University.
