Hussein Al-Shahat scores and celebrates Al-Ahly’s second goal in Wydad

Sayed Abdel Hafeez, football manager at Al-Ahly, denied the reports that South African Mamelodi Sundowns had made an offer to join Mohamed Magdy “Afsha” and Hussein Al-Shahat.

Abdel Hafeez told FilGoal.com: “I have not received any call from anyone stating that Sundowns is willing to include Afsha and Al Shahat.”

He continued, “Usually, if there is any offer, Amir Tawfiq, the contracting manager, speaks to me, but he did not call me and no one else spoke to me.”

He stressed, “The news is not true.”

Al-Ahly football director revealed that Pitso Mosimani, the coach of the team, remained in Egypt during the negative rest period, preparing the players for the African Champions League final.

He concluded, “Musimane was supposed to travel to his country to get a rest, but he will stay in Egypt for the next period.”

Al-Ahly faces the winner from Zamalek and Al-Raja in the African Champions League final on November 27.
