“I will try to do my best in the friendly matches of Egypt and Korea, and take advantage of the opportunity to join the Olympic team, in order to participate in the Olympics,” Evanelson said in remarks, most notably the Brazilian Football Association website.
“The camp in Egypt is very strong,” he added. “The coach of the Brazilian Olympic team likes to press hard. This is how he plays.”
“We will play several strong matches, and we will try to achieve positive results,” the Porto striker added.
The Selecão Olympic team will play two friendly matches in Cairo, the first against South Korea next Saturday, and then against Egypt on Tuesday.
This is part of the Olympic teams’ plan to prepare for the Olympiad in Tokyo 2021.
And Egypt Olympic coach Shawky Gharib announced earlier his list of 28 players in preparation for the two matches.
