Diaa Al-Sayed Najm Al-Ahly and the former Egyptian national team see the need for the Pharaohs to play cautiously against Togo.
Egypt will play Togo next Tuesday in the fourth round of the African Nations Qualifiers in Cameroon 2021.
The Egyptian national team defeated Togo with a goal without a response in the third round of the qualifiers, which was scored by Mahmoud Hamdi “Al-Wensh”.
FilGoal.com asked the former Egyptian football stars about the most appropriate way for the team in this match and the best formation from their point of view.
He also asked FilGoal.com who can compensate Muhammad Hani, who was injured, and Amr Al-Soulia, who was suspended.
Diaa Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com: “The confrontation outside our stadium in high humidity and different weather. We must change the way of playing and some basic elements.”
He added, “I think that the best way for the Egyptian team in this match is 4-3-3, to play in a balanced way, and to push by three in the middle, namely Muhammad Al-Nani, Tariq Hamed and Hamdi Fathy, with the latter increasing offensive.”
“Which means that I will keep Abdullah Al-Saeed on the bench because he participated in the 90 minutes of the first match.”
And he continued, “On the right side, Ahmed Tawfiq is Mohamed Hani’s substitute, and I also think that Ayman Ashraf should participate instead of Ahmed Fattouh because he is better than him in defense and has great experience.”
He concluded his remarks, “on the condition that the attacking trio consist of Mahmoud Trezeguet, Zizou and Ahmed Hassan Coca, and the latter has experiences, and also bearing in mind that Mustafa Mohamed played the first full match.”
And Diaa El-Sayed chose to form Egypt for this match as follows:
Goal: Mohammed Al-Shennawi.
Defense: Ahmed Tawfiq – Al-Wensh – Ahmed Hegazy – Ayman Ashraf.
Middle: Tariq Hamed – Muhammad Al-Nani – Hamdi Fathy.
The attack: Trezeguet – Coca – Zizou.
