Colombian James Rodriguez explained the role of Carlo Ancelotti in regaining part of his form with Everton, England.

The playmaker trained under Carlo at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, and is going into his third experience under the Italian leadership with the Toffies.

“Everton and Ancelotti trusted me when no one else did. I will always be grateful to the club and Carlo, which is why I try to do my best in every game,” James told the English network “BT Sports.”

“This is why I tried to play at a high level. This is what I would like to do for the club,” he added.

He continued, “Ancelotti knows how to treat players and get the best of them, and this is the reason for his work with these big clubs, and now he is working on a new project. We expect him to do unusual things.”

The 29-year-old Colombian scored 3 and assists in 6 Premier League matches.

On the possibility of qualifying for the Champions League, he replied, “I think we have what we need to be there next season.”

And he added, “In order to qualify for the Champions League, we need hunger to succeed in every match. I believe that all players should feel the same thing and we must follow the same methods.”

And he continued, “Carlo Ancelotti is the king of European football.”

“A player who knows how to score and is hungry to score goals, this is great because all the attackers are looking for opportunities to score and I think he is like them. He is also a small player but seems ambitious. I hope he scores 30-40 goals this season.”

The young English international tops the Premier League scorer with 8 goals in 7 matches.
