English clubs play many matches every year in December, especially during Christmas.
“With the Coronavirus pandemic, everything has changed, except for the match schedule,” Klopp said in statements, most notably his club’s website.
“Usually we all have one season in October and November and then December is very difficult. This year, October is like December, November like December, December is still like December. This intensity is really tough.”
He continued, “It is completely normal for you to play on Saturday, but the crisis was able to play at 12:30 pm.”
“The only problem is that we hurt the players. We can’t keep players fit with this. That’s really the problem. It’s not about us, it’s about the schedule.”
“Everyone needs to sit down at the table. It is good that we found the solution to go back and play, which is great, but now we have to start thinking about what is coming.”
