FilGoal | News | Klopp: The Leicester match was perfect except for one thing

Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp described his team’s match against Leicester City as ideal, despite all the absences that hit the team in the recent period.

Liverpool crowded out Tottenham at the top of the Premier League by defeating Leicester City in the ninth round 3-0 without many of its injured players.

“It was a perfect match until Naby Keita left the stadium due to injury,” Klopp said in comments, most notably his club’s website.

“It was a really good match. We had to play really well because otherwise you wouldn’t have a chance and the boys did it from the first second,” he added.

“We controlled the match, passed the right passes, moved in the right spaces, and there were a lot of really good things.”

“We scored two goals after a free kick, but there were a lot of good moments in football and the performance was really good.”

Liverpool are preparing to meet Atalanta on Wednesday in the fourth round of the group stage of the Champions League at Anfield.
