Mortada Mansour, Chairman of Zamalek Club, revealed his intention to attend the CAF Champions League final from the stadium.
Zamalek faces Al-Ahly in a fiery battle expected next Friday in the African Champions League final.
Murtaza Mansour said: “God willing, I will attend the African final from the stadium.”
He explained in his statements with FilGoal.com, “I will attend the meeting in order to support the players and the technical staff and urge them to achieve the most expensive and most important tournament in Africa.”
“The most important thing is that the meeting will go out in a manner befitting the name of Egypt, in front of the whole world,” he said.
He continued, saying, “The final is a very important event that will be watched by all the Arab and African nations, so Egypt must appear in the best way.”
And he continued, “I will meet the players like I do before every fateful match.”
And about the arrival of his team to the semi-final of the Egypt CupMortada Mansour says, “No one can evaluate the performance and level of Zamalek in the cup match, as well as the performance and level of Al-Ahly.”
He explained, “The players are completely busy thinking about the African final. This is all on their minds now. Al-Ahly was playing against Abu Qir Fertilizers and the latter with 10 players and did not show his level for the same reason.”
He concluded, “Winning today against Club Egypt is more important than everything in order to continue the tournament, with everyone thinking about the African final.”
Zamalek scored an impressive 2-0 victory against Masr Club in the quarter-finals of the Egypt Cup.
Zamalek is preparing for the expected confrontation with Al-Ahly next Friday in the African Champions League final.
