Suposlay attracted attention strongly after scoring the deadly victory for Hungary in Iceland in the 92nd minute and leading the team to qualify for Euro 2020.
According to the Spanish newspaper “AS”, Real Madrid is ready to sign the 20-year-old player, who helped his team win the League and Cup double the last two seasons in Austria.
Milan had included the most prominent clubs interested in joining Suposlay in the summer transfer market, as the player was linked to the Rossoneri as Ralph Rancic, the sporting director of the Red Bull Group, approached to coach Milan.
Negotiations were suspended after Milan renewed Stefano Pioli’s contract.
According to the Italian newspaper “Toto Sport”, Milan may contract with the player to compensate for the possible departure of Turkish Hakan Chalhanoglu at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Suposlai has a penalty clause in his contract with the Austrian club, estimated at 25 million euros.
Arsenal is also seeking to include the player to strengthen the midfield for Mikel Artetas squad after the signing of Thomas Parte from Atletico Madrid.
Suposlay has scored 5 goals this season and 9 assists in all competitions in 13 games.
The Hungarian joined Salzburg in January 2018 from Liefering, Austria. His current contract extends until the summer of 2022.
