Bilal, the Congolese agent, Kabongo Kasungu, the player of Zamalek club, confirmed that he apologized for what his client had done after the end of the African Champions League match against Al-Ahly.
Nazeer indicated in statements on the Al-Hadath channel today that he spoke with Kasongo after the match, to assure him that what happened was just a stadium jitter, as he described.
Nazeer said, “There was an argument and no one can deny it, but not in the way the scene appeared. It is normal for there to be a tug of war between the players, especially after an important match like this.”
He continued: “If anything happens on Kasongos side that I apologize on his behalf, it is natural for a player that he is committed since he arrived in Egypt. What happened is likely to happen after any match.”
He concluded: “I spoke with Kasungu because of this incident, and he assured me that he is a friend of all the players, and what happened was – jittering – only. I definitely apologize for what happened on his side.”
It is worth noting that the cameras lenses inside Cairo Stadium detected a clash between Kasongo and Al-Ahly striker Aliou Badji after the match ended.
