Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”, the Al-Ahly player, talked about winning the CAF Champions League after beating the rival Zamalek team with two goals to one on Friday.
Kahraba said in statements on the “Al-Ahly” screen today, Saturday: “In my first season, it is true, I did not play many matches, but our Lord rewarded me with two championships in a short period of time.”
On his exposure to infection with the Coronavirus, he replied: “Al-Ahly is not affected by absences after being infected with the Corona virus, but I was hoping to be in the final and spoke with the world’s doctors to return again.”
Regarding his greeting to Mahmoud Al-Khatib on the podium, he said: “Al-Khatib is a legend. He is like my father and deserves the whole world to greet him because he is a legend.”
Kahraba ended his talk about participating in the Club World Cup: “The dream of my life was to return to my family and participate in the Club World Cup, especially since I was following the team in the morning during its participation in Japan.”
Al-Ahly will participate in the Club World Cup, which will be organized by Qatar next February, where it will be the sixth participation in the World Cup for the red team.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly now owns nine CAF Champions League titles, to be alone at the summit, four more than the Congolese duo, Zamalek and Mazembe.
