Meteorology: a wave of weather fluctuations until Friday, with heavy rain and thunderstorms

The Meteorological Authority revealed that it is expected that the country will witness from today, Wednesday, 25 November, until Friday, 27 November, a state of instability in weather conditions according to the following: –

Today, Wednesday, November 25:

Heavy rains, sometimes thunderstorms, in some areas of the northern coasts (Alexandria – Matrouh Al Salloum – Rashid – Damietta – Port Said – Al Arish – Rafah).

Medium to heavy rain, sometimes thunderstorm, in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh, Buhaira, Dakahlia – Gharbia – Eastern – Menoufia). Light to moderate rain in northern Upper Egypt (Faiyum – Beni Suef – Minya).

This is accompanied by a decrease in temperatures and wind activity on the northern coasts and Lower Egypt, which increases the sense of cold weather.

Thursday, November 26

Heavy rain, sometimes thunderstorm, in some areas of the northern coast (Alexandria – Matrouh – Salloum Rashid – Damietta – Port Said – Arish – Rafah).

Medium to heavy rain, sometimes thunderstorm, in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh Al Buhaira – Dakahlia – Al Gharbia – Al Sharqia – Menoufia).

This is accompanied by a decrease in temperatures and wind activity on the northern coasts and Lower Egypt, which increases the sense of cold weather.

Friday, November 27

Medium to heavy rain in some areas of the northern coasts (Alexandria – Matrouh – Salloum Rashid – Baltim – Damietta – Port Said – Arish – Rafah).

Moderate rain in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh Al Buhaira – Al Dakahlia Al Gharbia – Al Sharqia – Menoufia).

As for Greater Cairo, it is expected that Greater Cairo will witness from Wednesday, November 25 to Thursday, November 26, moderate rains, accompanied by a decrease in temperatures and wind activity, which increases the sense of cold weather.

The Meteorological Authority affirmed that it is please to take all necessary preparations and measures to reduce the effects of rain, explaining that forecasts are updated daily.
