Counselor Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zamalek Club, blamed Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, for not contacting him after his illness.

Murtada said in a video clip on his official YouTube channel: “I was very angry at the position of the Minister of Youth and Sports, who visited Mahmoud Al-Khatib at his home when the president of Al-Ahly was suffering from health, while he did not think of calling me to check on my safety.”

He added, “All of Egypt knew that I had suffered a health problem one day before the start of the House of Representatives elections in the Mit Ghamr district, but the Minister of Youth and Sports did not call me and did not think about the question to me.”

He ended his remarks: “I was hoping that Ashraf Sobhi would contact me about my health problem, because I am the president of a big club and a patriotic and respected man, and I did not make any mistake towards anyone despite what happened to me in the elections.”
