Major General Fakhr Al-Arabi, Director of Qalyubia Security, received a notification from Lt. Col. Mahmoud Aql, Head of Investigation at Al-Khosos Police Department, of the death of two newlyweds a day after their marriage, after they were exposed to an electrical short during the shower.

Major General Hatem Al-Haddad, Director of Qalubia Investigation, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Muhammadi, Chief of the Qalyubia Investigation Department, and Colonel Muhammad Hosni, Head of the Criminal Al-Bajeth Branch in Al-Khanka, were notified, and the deceased were transferred to the hospital, and a report on the incident was issued and the prosecution ordered the burial permission after receiving the forensic report.
