Taher Mohamed Taher, the new Al-Ahly player, appeared for the first time in the training of the red team, which was held on Sunday morning at the “Mukhtar Touch” stadium, in preparation for completing the remainder of the current season’s matches in the Egypt Cup, in addition to the African Champions League final.
Taher joined Maran Al-Ahly under the leadership of South African technical director Pitso Mosimane, while his teammates were keen to establish an honorary path to receive the newcomer.
The 23-year-old performed an ultrasound to check on the injury that had recently removed him from the national camp in the front muscle, to determine the size of the injury and determine his position on participating in the training.
Sayed Abdel Hafeez, Al-Ahly Football Manager, stated that Taher began implementing his qualifying program on Sunday morning to recover from injury, adding that he will organize group training for the team within ten days from now at most.
He pointed out that the medical device has set up a treatment and rehabilitation program for the player to recover from the injury in the front muscle.
Taher will wear the number 27 shirt for Al-Ahly.
Al-Ahly contracted with Taher Mohamed Taher from the Arab Contractors Club in the club’s first deals during the current summer transfer period, to start his career in the Red Castle, starting from the next season 2020/2021.
It is reported that Al-Ahly is preparing to face Zamalek in the upcoming African Champions League final on November 27 at Cairo Stadium.
