Books – Mohamed Yousry Morshed:
An official source with the Confederation of African Football decided the position of Moroccan referee Radwan Jaid, confirming that he was infected with the new Corona virus “Covid-19” and that he was absent from the final match.
Zamalek will play with Al-Ahly at nine in the evening, Friday, at Cairo Stadium in the final of the African Champions League.
The source told Masrawy that the referees’ team, including Moroccan Radwan Jayed, underwent a swab at exactly eleven oclock in the morning yesterday, Thursday, and the results appeared late on the same day.
The source, who refused to be identified, revealed that the reason for the conflict is due to the late arrival of the referees ‘staff to Cairo, and by extension the one-swab procedure that the crew underwent at a late time, and thus CAF was forced to announce the names of the referees’ staff before the results of the swab were known.
It was assumed that the names of the arbitration staff would be announced after identifying the results of the swab, which did not happen and caused a conflict.
And the Moroccan referee, Radwan Jayed, was present yesterday evening in his hotel of residence, and he did not show any symptoms, and he did not undergo a second smear, and his condition was stable.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) decided to exclude Moroccan referee Radwan Jaid from managing the century’s final match due to his injury and replaced him with Egyptian referee Ibrahim Noureddine.
Ibrahim Nooruddin is in fourth referee, with Zambian referee Jani Sikazwe moving to arbitration in the “mouse” video judgment room.
