Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egypt Sovereign Fund, revealed the government’s plan to deal with the Tahrir complex after the building was owned by Egypt’s sovereign fund based on a presidential decision.

On the sidelines of the opening of the Ministry of Planning’s pavilion at the cairo Ict exhibition, Al-Saeed confirmed that the drawings of the Tahrir complex and land have been completed, which refer to a multi-purpose venue that includes a commercial and an administrative part, in addition to a number of hotel apartments.

She explained that the studies of the land of the Tahrir complex have been completed, the assessments of some companies have been completed and will be announced soon, and work is underway on the land of the National Party. The plan is to convert the Tahrir complex into a multi-functional and purpose-built building that includes various cultural, hotel and commercial activities.

It is assumed that the building will be evacuated after moving to the new administrative capital, and that the building will be the untapped assets, which the state seeks to develop during the coming period.
