5 teams arrive in Egypt on Monday to participate in the World Cup


Tomorrow, Monday, five teams will arrive in preparation for the World Cup, scheduled to begin next Wednesday, with the participation of 32 countries.

The teams are: Argentina, Portugal, Iceland, Congo and Belarus.

For his part, Khaled Fathy, Deputy Director of the World Championship, confirmed that the missions of the countries participating in the World Cup begin to arrive in succession at Cairo Airport from Monday until next Wednesday.

He added: “There is an emergency in the organizing committee and the airport to receive an ideal reception for everyone, as happened with the Japanese team, the first guests of the World Cup, arriving on January 3.”

The Brazilian team informed the organizing committee of the new date for its arrival next Wednesday, after it apologized for arriving last Friday and canceled its friendship with Egypt.

The deputy director of the tournament confirmed that the organizing committee is communicating with the upcoming teams to try to overcome any obstacles before arriving.
