Egyptian artist Adel Imam mourned the great writer and screenwriter Waheed Hamed, who died today at the age of 77, following a health crisis.
And Adel Imam wrote on “Facebook”: “Today I lost my friend, brother, lover and companion Wahid Hamed.”
He added, “A great loss for Egyptian and Arab art … May God have mercy on you, O lonely, and he will bring you into paradise.”
It is noteworthy that the writer Wahid Hamed was born in the village of Bani Quraish, the center of Minya al-Qamh, in the Sharkia Governorate. He married the journalist Zainab Sweidan, the former head of Egyptian television, and he is the father of the film director Marwan Hamed.
