The Saudi Al-Riyadiah newspaper revealed, from private sources, that Al-Balaihi has completed the rehabilitation and fitness program and will be at the forefront of the players participating in the team’s first training.
Ali Al-Blaihi return to Hilal training
The newspaper set the date for Ali Al-Blaihi’s return to Al Hilal training after returning from the city of Al-Majmaah, where the Blue team will play an important match today, Monday, against Al-Faisali in the fifteenth round of the Saudi League competition.
Al-Blaihi will be one of the main options for Romanian Razvan Lucescu, coach of Al Hilal, in order to strengthen the blue defense line in the Super Cup final against Al Nasr next Saturday.
Muscular injuries hit the Al Hilal team recently, especially in the defense line, where Abdullah Al-Mayouf, the goalkeeper, was absent for nearly two months, followed by the Korean Hyun and then Al-Blaihi, while Muhammad Al-Brik and Yasser Al-Shahrani were absent for intermittent periods.
Al-Blaihi had suffered a posterior muscle injury during training preceding the match between Al Hilal and Al Wehda, in the eighth stage of the Saudi League.
It is noteworthy that Al Hilal is the title holder of the Saudi League and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for the last season 2019/2020.
Azraq Al-Asimah tops the Saudi League standings at the present time, with a score of 29 points, on goal difference for Al-Ahly and 3 points for Al-Shabab, and has a chance to win the title of Winter Champion if it beats Al-Faisaly today at the end of the first round matches.
