Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, was keen to attend the last Al-Ahly training session in Egypt before traveling this afternoon to Qatar in preparation for participating in the World Club Championship.
The Minister of Youth and Sports addressed the players and the technical staff of the Red Team, in the presence of Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president.
According to the Al-Ahly Media Center, the Minister of Youth and Sports called on everyone to make every effort to defeat Al-Duhail, Qatar, in the opening match.
Al-Ahly will face Qatar’s Al-Duhail club on the fourth of next February in its opening match in the Clubs World Cup, and the winner of this confrontation will meet Bayern Munich on the eighth of the same month.
Sobhi said to the Al-Ahly team: “The state of Egypt these days from the World Handball Championship gives an impetus to all athletes to exert more effort and work towards achieving achievements and championships.”
Al-Ahly enters the medical bubble after completing the training session that was held at ten in the morning this Friday, and then the mission heads to Qatar this afternoon at exactly four in the afternoon, to participate in the Club World Cup.
It is worth noting that the team players and the coaching staff swabbed for the Corona virus, and its result was negative for all players and the technical staff.
