Al-Badri and the tripartite committee met to discuss ways to prepare the team for the team’s future African engagements and its requirements in order to ensure achieving the desired results.
The technical director of the national team said: “The session was very fruitful with Ahmed Mujahid and the rest of the committee members, Mohamed Al-Shawarby and Ahmed Hosam El-Din, after they confirmed their support for the national team and placed it at the top of their concerns in a way that would benefit the team’s career during the qualifying campaign.”
Al-Badri praised “the desire and enthusiasm of the head of the committee to provide all the capabilities available to serve the national team by affirming the full support and assistance during that stage, especially since this period witnesses many links, whether in the qualifying process for African nations or qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.”
He completed “with the technical staff Tariq Mustafa, Ahmed Ayoub, Sayed Moawad, Ayman Taher and Anis Al-Shaalali, preparing for the coming period and focusing on the stage of preparation for the confrontations with Kenya and Comoros.”
The national team had beaten Togo back and forth with Al-Badri with a goal, back and forth, 3-0, in the qualifiers for the 2022 African Cup of Nations.
The Egyptian national team is expected to face Kenya and Comoros in the fifth and sixth rounds of the 2022 African Cup of Nations qualifiers next March.
The national team ranks first on goal difference from the Comoros, with 8 points after 4 rounds.
Al-Badri has been leading the national team since September 2019, as he managed to win 4 matches and draw 2.
