FilGoal | News | Milan’s sporting director: We negotiated with difficulty with Chelsea to include Tomori .. We want to achieve all the championships

Frederic Massara, Milan’s sporting director, revealed the scenes of his club’s negotiations with Chelsea to join Vicayo Tomori, stressing that the Italian team is competing for 3 titles this season.

He signed Milan Tomori from Chelsea in the current winter transfer period on loan with an option to buy for 30 million euros.

Massara told Sky Italia: “When we include any player on loan, we put a condition on the right to buy.”

“We had to fight with Chelsea to place this option in a contract with Chelsea,” he added.

He praised Tomori for his abilities, “he is a versatile player, suited to the team’s playing style and has distinctive characteristics such as his ferocity and speed that other players in the team do not possess.”

And he continued, “We consider our defense integrated with these players and we trust our ability to continue well.”

Milan joined Mario Mandzukic in a free transfer, and Soali Mitte from Turin, along with Tomori, in the current transfer period.

And about this, he said: “We want to compete until the end of the season for the League, Cup and Europa League, and in this exceptional season where the large number of muscle injuries and injuries of the Corona virus and with the pressure of matches, we have to put as many solutions as possible in front of the coach.”

And about making any other deals before the transfer market closed and joining Junior Verbo from Barcelona to be a replacement for Theo Hernandez, he said: “I think Milan will not have any new players yet.”

“We will see in the next ten days if there is any opportunity,” he said.

Milan ranks first in the Italian league with 43 points from 18 matches.

Milan will play Red Star in the 32nd round of the European League, and they will face Inter in the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup next Tuesday.
