The decisions also included the approval of a draft resolution stipulating the authorization of the General Authority for Supply Commodities to participate in the establishment of a joint-stock company under the name of “Atlantic Pacific Shipping and Trade Company” whose main purpose is the maritime transport of all types of goods inside and outside Egypt, including the company’s ownership of commercial vessels, in accordance with the provisions of The law on joint-stock companies, limited liability companies, limited liability companies, and one-person companies, in addition to the approval of a draft resolution regarding the reformation and organization of the Supreme Council of Ports, as the draft resolution stipulated that the Council shall be reconstituted under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister, and the membership of each of the Minister of Transport Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Suez Canal Authority, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone, Chairman of the Fatwa Department for the Ministries of Transport, Communications and Civil Aviation, a representative of each of the Ministries of Defense, Interior, Investment and Tourism, and other members.
The decisions also included the approval of the recommendations of the main committee stipulated in Article (8) of the law organizing the construction and restoration of churches promulgated by Law No. 80 of 2016 regarding the reconciliation of the conditions of 62 churches and satellite buildings, bringing the number of churches and buildings that have been approved to adjust their conditions from the start of the work of the committee until Now to 1,800 churches and affiliated buildings.
