Former Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton said that the current team’s player, Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, is close to leaving Birmingham City after the end of the current season (2020-2021).
The former Aston Villa defender added, in comments through the British newspaper “Football Insider”: “I think that Al-Mohammadi will leave at the end of the season, which is the most likely continent.”
He continued: “I know that coach Denise Smith loves the player a lot and trusts him in many difficult situations, but the departure of Muhammadi is the closest.”
The 33-year-old has played with Aston Villa since 2017, after he was recruited from the ranks of Hull City, where the Egyptian international has a contract until the end of the current season.
Al-Mohammadi participated in five matches in the Premier League competition this season, as Smith relies on Matti Cash in the current season.
Al-Mohammadi has a great career in the Premier League since 2010, where he played for Sunderland and then moved to Hull City and from there to Aston Villa.
