Milan coach Stefano Pioli confirmed the absence of Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the “Rossoneri” match against Juventus, scheduled for Wednesday, in the summit of the 16th stage of the Italian League.
Bioli said at a press conference held on the eve of the match: “I scolded Ibra for the video he posted on social networks, and then I received a torrent of phone calls from people wanting to know if Zlatan can play: No, he will not participate” in the Juventus match for not being ready.
The 39-year-old has been out of action since November 22, after suffering an injury in the match that Milan beat Napoli 3-1 away from home.
The veteran striker posted a short video of his training session on Tuesday and wrote it “soon.”
Milan leads the league with 37 points after 15 rounds, while Juventus is fifth with 27 points and has a postponed match against Napoli.
