“Misr Elkheir” signs protocols with 36 NGOs to achieve sustainable development

Within the framework of effective cooperation to achieve sustainable development and better and faster access to the most needy families and community development, the “Misr El-Kheir” Foundation signed, on Monday, cooperation protocols with 36 NGOs at the level of the governorates of the canal cities “Ismailia, Port Said, Suez” and Sharkia Governorate within the first phase To implement the enterprise strategy.

Mohamed Abdel-Rahman, deputy managing director of the “Misr El-Kheir” Foundation, said in a press statement that the aim of signing the protocol between the “Misr El-Khair” Foundation and the number of 36 civil society development partners in the governorates of the canal cities and the eastern governorate is to start implementing the foundation’s strategy for the year 2021 AD, which targets community development. Civil society in a way that serves the principle of sustainable development, where information will be exchanged and exchanged with the participating associations in a way that ensures their development and organization of work with them in a way that serves the beneficiaries and in better and faster ways to reach the poor and deserving families.

The Deputy Managing Director of the “Misr El-Kheir” Foundation added that the signing of the protocols comes within the framework of implementing the first phase of the foundation’s strategy, which targets the governorates of the cities of the Canal, Eastern Province, and Assiut within this phase, and then the rest of the governorates will be included in succession, provided that this strategy is applied at the level of all governorates of the Republic by 2022 AD. To have all stages of implementing the strategy have been completed.

Abdel-Rahman explained that the partnership will be with the targeted associations with the aim of implementing the projects of the “Misr El-Kheir” Foundation in the communities in which these societies participate in the strategy, noting that these associations are the closest to the target communities, and thus the Foundation ensures the speedy implementation of support for the real recipient in cooperation with the partner associations.

The Deputy Managing Director of the “Misr El-Kheir” Foundation indicated that the selection of the associations participating in the strategy was not randomly done. Rather, nearly 300 associations were subjected to evaluation by the Foundation through a set of reports and documents submitted by associations wishing to partner. Criteria targeting active associations were applied. Likewise, the principle of geographical spread was applied, so that we can now reach an effective partnership with 36 associations covering the geographical scope of the governorates of the canal cities and the Sharkia governorate.

He added that after signing the protocols, the associations participating in the strategy will undergo a set of training that develops the skills of those in charge of them and that transmits the institution’s policy and procedures to work with it, and the Foundation does not mind using this information to apply it to partner associations in their individual projects because this is our primary goal, which is the development of civil society.

For his part, Ahmed Salah, head of the implementation sector at the “Misr El-Kheir” Foundation, said that “the work of the“ Misr El-Kheir ”Foundation did not depend on signing the protocol to implement the activities of the foundation and train workers in the associations only, but rather the Foundation will continue in its role as a main supporter for the participating associations and follow-up projects related to The foundation and implemented by partner associations throughout the year to ensure social development and support and support families most in need.

The head of the implementation sector at Misr El-Kheir Foundation added that the first phase of implementing the foundation’s strategy includes the associations of the governorates of the canal cities and the governorates of Sharkia and Assiut, provided that the protocols are signed with the rest of the governorates, respectively, according to the stages of implementing the strategy at the level of the Republic.
