The Russian “Gazprom” company has resumed its talks with the Saudi “SABIC” for oil and gas chemicals, with the aim of attracting it as a co-investor in the project of a large gas chemical complex in the “Pofanenkovo” block in Yamal.
An informed source told “Vedomosti” newspaper that the Russian giant also views Chinese companies as a potential partner, but there have been no talks with it so far in this regard.
The source pointed out that “Gazprom” held talks with representatives of “SABIC” at the end of December 2020. During which “Gazprom” offered to the Saudi company, “to share the risks of the project.”
