Among the 12,000 applicants, the Gutenberg Film Festival management has chosen Swedish nurse and film lover Lisa Enroth to witness the festival alone in 2021.
Inroth will spend a week on the remote Butter Noster island, off Sweden’s western coast, near a dense archipelago, watching film after movie.
About the unique experience, she says: “I spent a lot of time in the healthcare field listening, testing and comforting. I feel exhausted. ”
She added that she will record daily video clips that will appear on the festival’s website, “the wind, the sea, and the possibility of being part of a completely different kind of reality for a week, all of this is really attractive,” according to the British newspaper, The Guardian.
“It is amazing to be able to give this unique experience to one of the many heroes in the healthcare system who are all working hard in the face of COVID-19,” said Festival CEO Miria Pfister.
