The first football team of Al-Ahly club concluded this evening its preparations for the Qatari match of Al-Duhail, scheduled for 7:30 pm tomorrow, Thursday, at the Education City Stadium, at the start of the team’s journey in the Club World Cup scheduled to be held from 4 to 11 February.

Moroccan Badr Bannon participated in the team’s collective training after recovering from the slight bruise he suffered during the team’s training yesterday.

Team coach Pitso Mosimane was keen to check on the condition of the player who was present today at the team’s training in preparation for tomorrow’s match.

Al-Ahly’s first football team will wear the alternative uniform (gray shirt, black shorts and black socks) during the Al-Duhail match tomorrow evening, Thursday, at the opening of the FIFA Club World Cup, provided that the Qatari team is a full red kit, according to the results of the technical meeting held this afternoon. During the meeting, it was agreed that Al-Ahly would wear the alternative outfit, consisting of a gray shirt, black shorts and black socks, and that his goalkeeper would wear the full yellow set, while Al-Duhail would wear the full red kit and his goalkeeper wearing purple.
The meeting touched on the affirmation of the right of each team to make five changes during the match, with the possibility that any team could make its sixth change if one of its players suffered a severe injury that resulted in a head hemorrhage or any brain injury, or when the match reached overtime.
Among the most prominent instructions also came that each team shall have the right to only 3 players from the reserve to perform warm-up operations with the coach during the match.

The meeting also witnessed the confirmation of the time for the two teams to arrive at the match stadium an hour and a half before the start of the match, in addition to stressing the need to take all precautionary and preventive measures to address the Corona virus.
