Al-Moez Ali, captain of the Qatari team, Al-Duhail, confirmed that they are preparing to provide a distinguished level against Al-Ahly in order to qualify for the semi-finals and meet Bayern Munich during the FIFA Club World Cup.
Al-Duhail is preparing to meet Al-Ahly in the Club World Cup on February 4.
Al-Duhail captain said in statements to the club’s official website, “Al-Duhail is ready for the World Cup, which is the first time for the club and most of the players. Everyone is excited, especially as we will face Al-Ahly, the African champion, and we will play and represent the country. This matter will make us prepare perfectly to honor our country and the slogan of Al Duhail.”
“Our first appearance in this tournament gives us enthusiasm to present ourselves as required, and we will appear differently from what appeared in the last period, because the level of all participating clubs will be high, and we, in turn, must be at the same level.”
“In the face of Al-Ahly, we will provide everything that makes us surprise our fans by winning and reaching the semi-finals to meet Bayern Munich,” he said.
“This is a new version, and in the last version, Al-Sadd club participated and found great support from all Qatari fans, and we are now participating and waiting for the support of all Qatari football fans, because we do not represent our team only, but all Qatar.”
He concluded, “We are waiting for the public support and the audience is the number 12 player, and with their presence and support, we will fight on the field to leave a clear imprint in this tournament.”
