Ashraf Zaki talked about the crisis of arresting the artist Muhammad Ramadan after the spread of his pictures with Israeli artists during their presence in a special ceremony in Dubai, saying: “There is a law and an investigation committee, I am not a guardian of it and you cannot say to a consultant delegated from the State Council any decision in which a judge rules and it is a ruling of reservation The investigation, and when I discussed it, he said that the Technical Syndicate Union’s decision says that it is forbidden to deal in any artistic way with the Zionists, and the judge thinks that he has not made any series or film with them and has not entered into an artistic project with them and is not prepared before a judge suspended judgment.
He added: Ramadan swore that he was innocent of this matter, and the custody of what he said to the investigation committee and provided all the evidence that he did not receive anything from them as was reported, and in the end there is a court and a judge and I am not the judge, and I believe the experience that Ramadan lived was harsh and stronger than suspension and removal from the Syndicate And his accusations were not easy, and in my sessions with him he was in great pain about what was happening with him and swore that he was innocent of all these accusations.
It is noteworthy that in November 2020, Emirati journalist and activist Hamad Al Mazrouei published a picture of his gathering with Ramadan and the Israeli singer Amir Adam, and it received a great welcome from the Israeli Arabic-speaking pages, such as the page of Avichai Adraei, the Israeli army spokesman for Arab media.
After the spread of the image, Ramadan posted a video from Dubai, via his Instagram account, and a writer commented on it: “I do not care about your name, your color, or your birth. I care about a person, even if I do not have a title”, which was considered by the followers as the first response to his appearance with Adam, but it was soon Delete the video minutes after it was posted.
The Theatrical Professions Syndicate, headed by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, issued a decision to permanently suspend Ramadan from work on November 23, until he appeared for investigation in the first week of December, due to his pictures with Israelis.
The Representative Professions Syndicate issued a statement stating that he “followed with all interest and responsibility stemming from a national position that represents the masses of Egyptian artists and creators, what happened to one of the members of the Syndicate in an artistic gathering in an Arab city, and he took pictures with artists belonging to the Zionist entity.”
At the end of December 2020, the Syndicate of Theatrical Professions decided to preserve the investigation with Muhammad Ramadan and to settle for the period of his suspension from acting, and to complete the filming of his series “Musa” to be shown in the upcoming Ramadan 2021 season.
