Sayed Metwally, Director of Contracting in Egypt for the Clearing House, revealed the amount of money that the Fayoumi Club received in exchange for the sale of Marwan Hamdy to Zamalek Club.
Marwan Hamdi moved to the ranks of Zamalek during the last winter transfer period, to consolidate the ranks of the white team after the departure of Mustafa Muhammad to the Turkish Galatasaray.
During radio statements for the “With Schubert” program on “On Sport” radio, Metwally said: “Zamalek was not the only club that submitted to Marwan Hamdi, the player received a Saudi offer on loan with a good amount of money.”
He added, “We got 11 million pounds in return for the player’s transfer to Zamalek, and we put a clause in the contract requiring the clearing of 15% if he was loaned or sold.”
He continued: “We signed several deals in the winter Mercato that cost us one million and 200 thousand pounds to strengthen the ranks of the Fayoumi team, and we completed a transfer in the name of Morsi coming from the military production with a value of one million pounds permanently.”
“Basem Morsi is a good player, he has the will to regain his glory. We hope that it will be a fruitful deal for the Fayoumi club,” he concluded.
It is worth noting that the clearinghouse ranks eighth with 18 points.
