The official website of the International Federation of Football Association “FIFA” published a report on the Congolese, Walter Bwalia, the new Al-Ahly striker, who had not scored any official goal with the red genie so far, and FIFA indicated in its report that the player who possesses the Congolese and Zambian nationalities surprisingly found himself competing in The Club World Cup, after a few matches he played with the Red Devils in the domestic league, to be on time to score his first goals against the German giants Bayern Munich.

Al-Ahly will play Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup next Monday, after the Red Genie overtook his Qatari counterpart Al-Duhail yesterday evening by beating him 1-0.

FIFA monitored Bwalias career from the start until he joined El Gouna and his brilliance before moving to Al-Ahly, and also highlighted his brilliance in the first match with Al-Ahly club against Al-Duhail, and that he was the reason for the only match goal scored by Hussein Al-Shahat after he snatched the ball from the opponent’s defender, and also scored a goal. But it was canceled for offside.

FIFA said: “The striker is under pressure to score goals, as he has yet to score in a short time with the Red Devils, yet the club has great faith in his amazing abilities and realizes that the pressure he is putting on himself may be behind some missed opportunities.”

The report added: “Walter Bwalya will have the chance of a lifetime when he faces Bayern Munich in the semi-finals. If he scored his first goal for the club against the European Champions, it would definitely be a historic achievement.”

Al-Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane said after the Al-Duhail match: “He came close to scoring his first goal for us today, in fact, I thought he scored, only for technology to decide otherwise. They have a better view than we have, so we can’t argue with that.”

He added, “He was strong in attack, and we only substituted him in the second half due to the stress and material damage these kinds of matches exert on the players.”

He continued: “He is a good striker and his mission is to score goals, so I am sure that he will find the formula again soon.”
