Al-Ahly is preparing to meet Al-Duhail, Qatar, tomorrow, Thursday, at the opening of its matches in the Club World Cup 2020 in Qatar from 4 to 13 February.
Al-Badri said in a press statement: “Al-Ahly has strong motives in line with the strongest tournament at the club level.”
And the former coach of Al-Ahly continued, “Al-Ahly has great experience in being in that tournament, both from the administrative point of view, due to the presence of Mahmoud Al-Khatib, Khaled Murtaji and Khaled Al-Darandali, and this will help the team a lot to organize and caution.”
He added, “There are also some players who have participated in the competition, such as Walid Suleiman and Saad Samir, and they will have a great role with their colleagues even if they will not participate in the matches.”
Al-Badri added, “The tournament is very important for Al-Ahly, and the Al-Duhail meeting will express the name of the African and Arab club. I hope for victory and for the team to reach the farthest place in the tournament.”
Al-Badri concluded his speech, “I know the feeling of winning in these tournaments after I participated with Al-Ahly three times, whether as a general coach or technical director.”
