Al-Ittihad of Alexandria defeated Egypt for the clearing by four goals without response in the 11th round matches, leaving the team with two postponed matches against Ghazl El Mahalla and Enppi.
Ibrahim Hassan told Youth and Sports Radio, “The league is very difficult this season. There is no easy team and the ball is not great. Zamalek lost to Ghazl El Mahalla.”
He added, “He who focuses well and plays enthusiastically will achieve his goals, but arrogance and the feeling that you are better and you will win at any time will be counter-productive.”
Ibrahim Hassan stressed, “Whoever wants to be the champion should not feel confident until the referee blows the final whistle. Football is not guaranteed.”
He revealed, “The young team is the one who succeeds in accumulating points, with my respect to the El Gouna team, it has only lost a match or two, but is in a good position thanks to its success in collecting points.”
“We have 8 players infected with the Coronavirus,” the Alexandria Football Association director said, “Waiting for results is like waiting for the results of high school. The player who recovers does not allow his participation in training except after making an electrocardiogram, and all clubs must pay attention to this matter.”
Speaking of Al-Ahly’s participation in the Club World Cup, Hassan said: “Al-Ahly has a history and is participating for the sixth time. Generations differ, but Al-Ahly remains in its character.”
“Many fans here in Egypt do not know Qatari football. Qatari clubs depend on naturalized players, and the financial capabilities there are enormous,” he added.
Ibrahim Hassan stressed, “With respect to a sister country, Al-Ahly will not face a Qatari team, but professional players who receive salaries close to European players.”
“Al-Ahly will play with enthusiasm and experience. The match is very difficult, especially as the personality of the players in the Gulf is very different from the past,” he concluded.
