“My relationship with Abu Jabal is a stadium relationship. We may not go out together because I am not someone who goes out of the house often,” Jensh said on MBC Egypt.
And he continued, “The brilliance of Abu Jabal? This is normal for you to play in Zamalek, but the most important thing is consistency.”
He continued, “I do not see that I got my chance to participate, I have not played since my injury, maybe 5 games only.”
And he added, “I will continue in Zamalek, this is my team.”
“He offered me a lot of money. You can ask Abdel Halim Ali,” he said. “It is the same as my mentality. I see that this is my home. I do not accept the idea of my leaving because I did not participate.”
And he continued, “I missed the third goal against the Vanguards of the Army, and I said that in the dressing room to my colleagues.”
He continued, “This error is possible because I did not know that I would participate, I was surprised by that.”
“I spoke with Amr Abdel Salam, the guards trainer, that I am supposed to know, there are things that I like to control in training. I like to play under pressure, such as fish, if I take them out of the water, they will die.
He added about Egypt’s first goalkeeper, saying: “Egypt’s first goalkeeper, Mohamed El-Shennawi, I say it frankly, because he is doing well for a very long time. I would be lying if I said something else.”
“Abu Jabal is going well, but people love me because I say the truth. The matter is measured in the long term, it will not be explained in another way,” he said.
“I may say Abu Jabal because he is my colleague and he plays, but people will not believe me about what I will say next.”
Jensh joined Zamalek in 2011 from the Olympic club, and his current contract extends until the summer of 2024.
The last match that Jensh played with the Zamalek shirt was during the semi-final of the Egypt Cup against Tala` Al-Jaysh, which his team lost 3-1.
