Salah scored two goals, which led Liverpool to a 3-1 victory over West Ham in the English Premier League.
Neville said in statements to the British “Sky Sports”: “The reason why I prefer Salah over Mane is that Salah is more calm.”
He added, “I always thought that Salah would leave Liverpool, and I said that in the past although it was too early, and I think he will leave within the next 18 months.”
“I have a constant feeling that he wants to leave and explore another country to play with,” he added.
“I think he has aspirations to do so,” he said.
Salah scored 15 goals to top the Premier League scorer list.
Salah has reached his 21st goal this season in all competitions.
Salah became the first Liverpool player to score 20 goals or more for 4 consecutive seasons since Ian Rush, who continued on the same approach for 6 consecutive seasons.
