Juventus has rejected an offer from Liverpool to sign a comfortable Demiral during the winter transfer period, according to the Italian network, Sport Medias.
According to the Italian report, Liverpool made an offer to join Demiral in exchange for 57 million euros, which was rejected by Juventus.
The report indicated that Liverpool made its offer in the last hours of the transfer window.
Demral, 22, joined Juventus from Sassuolo in 2019.
The Turkish defender has played 22 matches with Juventus.
Liverpool was looking to compensate for the absences in the defense line. Virgil van Dyck, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip will be absent until the end of the season.
Liverpool included the duo: Ouzan Kabak, defender of Schalke, and Ben Davis, defender of Preston North End, on the last day of the winter transfer window.
Liverpool is third in the Premier League with 40 points, 4 points behind leaders Manchester City with 44 points and has a postponed match.
