Sayed Metwally said in statements to Ontime Sports 2: “Ihab Galal’s relationship with Egypt for clearing is greater than the penalty clause, and we have great ambitions and investments.”
“News of his departure was also reported previously regarding his Ismaili training, but it was not believed,” he added.
He concluded, “Besides, the new Football Association regulations do not allow the coach to leave and take over another team except with his dismissal, and this will not happen on our part.”
And about the sale of Marwan Hamdy, the team’s striker, to Zamalek, he said, “We sold Marwan Hamdy to Zamalek for 11 million + 15% of the resale.”
“We could have had more because Marwan is a really good striker, but we would have spent her time at the rate of resale, in addition to Marwan’s desire to play for Zamalek despite the presence of other external offers.”
Egypt, for clearing, lost today to Al Ittihad of Alexandria by four goals to none.
And Egypt for Clearing is ranked eighth with 13 points.
