Enppi turned from delaying one goal to a 3-1 win against Pyramids in the eleventh round of the league matches.
Enppi raised his score to 16 points in fifth place out of 9 matches and has two postponed matches against El Entag El Harby and Al Ittihad of Alexandria, while Pyramids freezes his score at 15 points from 11 matches he fought and retreated to sixth place temporarily before completing the eleventh round matches.
Mahmoud Wadi opened the scoring in the seventh minute for Pyramids after a missile shot to the right of Mahmoud Gad, Enppi goalkeeper.
Before the end of the first half, a penalty kick was awarded to Enppi in the 42nd minute after resorting to video technology due to a handball against Omar Jaber, and Rami Sabri scored a draw from a penalty kick to the right of Sherif Ikrami in the 45th minute.
In stoppage time, Enppi striker John Ibuka snatched the lead with a second goal seconds before the end.
With the start of the second half, Dinopetter Judy added the third goal to Enppi, before newcomer Diego Roland reduced the score with a second goal for Pyramids after a defensive error.
Thus, the Pyramids had failed to achieve only one victory in the last seven matches in the league, and that was against the Arab Contractors by three goals to one.
While Pyramids tied in five matches and lost against Enppi in the team’s last seven confrontations in the Egyptian League.
Pyramids will play their next match against Tala` Al-Jaish on Saturday, while Enppi will face Smouha on Monday.
