Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer said he knows Egypt’s Al-Ahly team, adding that it will not be easy.
Bayern Munich is preparing to participate in the Club World Cup, scheduled to start on the fourth of February, provided that the Bavarian team begins its interest on the 8th of the same month and meets the winner of the Al-Ahly and Al-Duhail match of Qatar.
During statements to the FIFA website, Noir said: “Happy to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup. We already won the tournament in 2013, now we have another opportunity to play in Qatar. We want to get the sixth title at any price.”
He added: “We have good memories in 2013, the matches were not easy, the teams were relatively equal. We had to work hard to win, especially in the final match.”
He continued, “We have an additional motive. We want to win the Club World Cup. We have a clear goal and we want to achieve it.”
When asked about facing one of Al-Ahly or Al-Duhail in the semi-finals, he said: “At the moment our focus is still on Bundesliga, but we will prepare for that match in time. We know Al-Ahly, he won the African Champions League, so it will not be easy, and it was not Also in 2013. ”
