Abdel-Rahim Shaaban Abdel-Rahim, son of the late Egyptian artist Shaaban Abdel-Rahim, responded to what was published by the Lebanese artist, Manar Hamza, on her Facebook page, where she demanded her right to the inheritance of the popular singer.
Abdel-Rahim said that he would file a complaint to the Attorney General against the artist who uses his father’s name to search for fame, stressing that she does not have anything in his father’s inheritance, and does not seek anything but fame behind this matter, according to the newspaper, Al-Youm Al-Sabea.
He added that the artist was chasing his father to make a video clip with her, and that the pictures that she took with him were while filming “Kliba” with him, explaining that she was visiting them at home naturally during that period and he was not expected to make such actions from her.
A great controversy arose during the last period when the Lebanese actress Manar Hamza announced her marriage to the late Egyptian artist Shaaban Abdel Rahim and sold him a villa.
Hamza demanded during a live broadcast through her account on the social networking site “Facebook” her right to the inheritance of Abdul Rahim, saying: “By saying to the children of Shaban, you are my sisters, and let the issue of the inheritance and the villa leave it to the law and the lawyer, and I will not take any need for you.”
