Mohamed Adel Fathy, the football supervisor at the Arab Contractors Club, revealed that he had agreed with Al-Ahly to include Ramy Rabia, the red team’s defender, explaining that a 20-minute delay spoiled the completion of the deal.
Adel Fathi said, in televised statements to the Tala fans program with Ibrahim Fayek, on the On Time Sports channel: “Although Al-Ahly was in Qatar to participate in the World Cup, the team officials cooperated with us to complete Ramy Rabia’s transfer, but the time did not help us to end the deal.”
He added, “The deal is still in place. The agreement is underway with Al-Ahly, and we hope to complete the deal in the summer transfers.”
And the football supervisor at the Arab Contractors Club added: “As for the deal to transfer Al-Jaziri to Zamalek, it was completed because it is the best and most appropriate offer for the player and the contractors.”
And he added, “We received an offer from the Kuwaiti Al-Qadisiyah to join Saif Al-Jaziri, but if we agree to the presented offer, and we see that Zamalek’s offer is the best, we will complete the deal.”
Adel Fathi denied the departure of Emad Al-Nahhas from the team, saying: “Emad Al-Nahhas continues with the team, and the rumors circulating about his departure are absolutely true.”
Rami Rabia had signed his contracts to join Al Mokawloon on loan until the end of the current season, after the player’s exit from the technical accounts of Al-Ahly coach Pizzo Mosimane, but the closure of the registration door prevented the contractors from being able to include the player on his local list, so the player’s inclusion process ended in failure.
