Nine Entertainment, Australias largest domestically owned media company, said it was hit by a cyberattack that disrupted its live TV programs on Sunday, Bloomberg reported.

In a statement, the company said the attack prevented Nine from broadcasting its Weekend Today program on Sunday morning in Australia.

Vanessa Morley, Director of People and Culture at Nine, said in a note to employees: “Our IT teams are working around the clock to fully restore our systems that have mainly affected broadcast business units.

Nine owns radio stations and newspapers including The Australian Financial Review, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, and has been urging all employees to work from home until further notice.
