Al-Ahly mission leaves to Sudan to meet Mars


The team of the first football team at Al-Ahly club, headed by Khaled Al-Darandali, the treasurer, left Cairo airport shortly before on its way to Sudan to play the match against Mars next Saturday in the African Champions League.
The Al-Ahly mission flew to Sudan to face the Al-Merrikh team in the fifth round matches of the African Champions League group stage, scheduled for next Saturday at the Blue Jawhara Stadium.
Al-Ahly had succeeded in achieving an important victory in the last round against Vita Club in Congo, with 3 goals.
Al-Ahly ranks second in Group A with 7 points from four matches, which were collected from two matches against Al-Merrikh, Sudan, in Cairo, Vita Club in Congo, and a draw with Vita in Cairo, and suffered a lone loss from Simba in Tanzania.
The Al-Ahly mission includes 24 players: Muhammad Al-Shennawi, Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, Rami Rabi’a, Yasser Ibrahim, Marwan Mohsen, Muhammad Sharif, Walid Suleiman, Ayman Ashraf, Badr Banoun, Hussein Al-Shahat, Ali Diang, Ali Lotfi, Amr Al-Soulia, Salah Mohsen, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Saad Samir, Nasser Maher, Akram Tawfiq, Walter Bawalia and Taher Mohamed Taher Junior Ajay, Muhammad Hani, Mustafa Schubert and Ahmed Nabil Kouka.
